How to Generate AI Art from Text

The blank canvas has been replaced by a blank text box, which is friendlier — you already know how to type. What separates a muddy first attempt from a wall-worthy image is what you type and how you iterate.

The loop

  1. Describe the image in Algo's prompt box — up to 1,000 characters. Stuck? Tap one of the 14 sample prompts; each loads a proven prompt with a matching style.
  2. Pick a style (optional): Photorealistic, Anime, Digital Art, 3D Render, Van Gogh, Watercolor, Cyberpunk or Pixel Art. All free. The style guide maps each to its best subjects.
  3. Create Image. Seconds later, your artwork appears.
  4. Iterate. Same prompt again for a different take, or change one element — the subject's pose, the lighting, the style. Every attempt is saved to history with its exact prompt, so good accidents are reproducible.
  5. Save or share the keeper — straight to Photos or the share sheet.

What to type: the 30-second lesson

The pattern that consistently works is subject + setting + mood + details:

A lone samurai standing in a cherry blossom field, petals drifting in golden evening light, calm and cinematic

Each part earns its place: the subject anchors the image, the setting fills the frame, the mood drives color and light, and one or two details (petals drifting) give the AI something specific to render. The prompt guide goes deep with copy-paste patterns.

Iterating like you mean it

Honest expectations: AI art rewards iteration. Two or three runs to a keeper is normal, five for something specific. The people getting amazing results aren't luckier — they iterate more deliberately.

FAQ

Why does the same prompt give different images?

Generation is sampling, not lookup — every run makes fresh choices. Iterate and keep the best; history holds them all.

Do I have to pick an art style?

No — without one the AI picks its own aesthetic. Styles are the steering wheel.

Can I generate art from a photo instead of text?

Algo is text-to-image only — words in, art out.
